Every clip belongs to a workspace
Better Auth signs the reader in with Google, GitHub or a magic link, and a personal workspace is created on first use — exactly one, even under concurrent first requests. Brand kits, footage and videos all hang off it, and every page and action starts by checking the reader's role in it.
An upload is a job, not a request
A recording goes straight to Neon's object storage and a queued job in the worker transcodes it, cuts thumbnails and finds the key moments — scene changes, plus any moment marked while recording — because none of that fits inside a request.
The model proposes, the timeline decides
The AI reads what the analysis found at each key moment and returns a structured plan — a camera look, what to do with idle stretches, on-screen text, graphics and an end card — with two or three sentences on why. It lands as ordinary edit data, so it can be changed like anything a person made.
One composition, two renderers
The browser preview and the final export both play the same Remotion composition, so what the timeline shows is the video that will be rendered. Saves are versioned, so a stale tab is told to reload rather than overwriting newer work.
Rendering happens off the web server
An export is a job the worker renders at 1080p in the chosen shape, with progress, and a share link plays the newest finished file to anyone signed out — until it is turned off, when it answers 404.
